Se você for ver várias coisas no mesmo passeio, a Kelli recomenda vocês irem de carro. Mas você consegue visitar a maioria dos lugares por transporte público também….
Os transportes públicos para e dentro de San Francisco são – o BART e o MUNI
Aqui vão algumas dicas de lugares legais para visitar:
Once in the city, you can’t get everywhere on BART, but you can get close to most of the big tourist attractions and then you can take busses if you prefer. I like to take BART if I’m going to one or two places it specifically goes to, but I like to drive if I’m going to be seeing a lot of different things. I like to park at the end of Van Ness (where it intersects with North Point). It’s free for 3 hours and you can easily walk to Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, and other points of interest
Ride the Cable Cars
Golden Gate Park is beautiful! You can also see the Japanese Tea Gardens (free if you enter by 10 am on Mon, Wed, or Fri) and the De Young Museum there and take an elevator to the top for a great view (walk into the museum main entrance, take a right, and look for the elevator signs. Go to the 9th floor).
Palace of Fine Arts – Beautiful architecture. A great place for a picnic or to take some nice pictures.
Segway Tour! Seriously awesome. You have no idea. We’ve use these guys in the past.
Crissy Field – great view of the Golden Gate Bridge, beach, grassy open field, outdoor workout area. Free parking.
The Ferry Building Marketplace – good food, interesting shops, souvenirs
Seward Street Slides – bring cardboard or something to slide on
Baker Beach – Other side of the GG Bridge (also technically a nude beach…you’ve been warned)
Muir Woods is a bit of a drive, but a beautiful outdoor place to visit
